Smart Ice Italy was created from the initiative of Cesare Mazza, founder of Mabinox, his son Cristian and his daughter Stefania, both with a twenty-year experience in the furniture industry.
Smart Ice Italy distinguishes itself from other companies for the possibility to manufacture custom-built refrigerated products able to satisfy every customer’s necessity.
Customized production is an activity which involves a high expenditure of energy and effort and that is why many companies do not provide this service. Smart Ice Italy is one of the few Italian brands to offer this customization, making in this way the decoration of any space possible.
Cristian Mazza
FOUNDERCristian Mazza
Cristian Mazza was born in 1971 in Bologna.
In 2010, he came up with a ground-breaking idea and, with the help of his father Cesare Mazza and sister Stefania Mazza, he launched the Smart Ice Italy project.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial sector, which has allowed him to demonstrate his innovative approach and creative skills.
Over the years, he has developed functional strategies, always finding the right solution to offer customers products of the highest possible quality.
Stefania Mazza
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGERStefania Mazza
Stefania Mazza was born in 1967 in Bologna.
With more than 30 years of experience, she is the administrative manager of Smartice SRL.
She is in charge of supervising, organising and co-ordinating the company’s administrative, accounting and financial services.
She also manages relations with customers, suppliers and banks.
Matteo Melli
SALES MANAGERMatteo Melli
Matteo Melli was born in 1992 in Bologna.
After completing his studies in Italy, he moved to London where he did various jobs that helped him improve his English language skills.
He later joined the Smart Ice Italy team.
Matteo is committed and devoted to supporting Smart Ice customers commercially in foreign markets, aiming to increase sales globally and achieve set targets.
Lorenzo Melli
SALES MANAGERLorenzo Melli
Lorenzo Melli was born in 1995 in Bologna.
He devoted his life to football until the age of 26, turning his passion into his job.
Later on in 2020, he decided to follow in the footsteps of his uncle, Cristian Mazza, and of his brother, Matteo Melli.
It is his responsibility to find new customers for Smart Ice Italy and to provide commercial support.
With his dedication and passion, every day he strives for personal and company growth.
Andrea Zanin
DESIGN & SALES MANAGERAndrea Zanin
Andrea Zanin was born in 1987 in Pordenone.
He is a mechanical expert who later obtained a degree in Economics and has gained extensive technical and commercial experience in the field of custom refrigeration, implementing projects for major international clients and architects (including Philippe Stark and Peter Marino).
A Smart Ice Italy partner since 2021, he is passionately committed to expanding the company’s presence in the Italian and foreign markets.
Davide Santarossa
R&D MANAGERDavide Santarossa
Davide Santarossa was born in 1993 in Pordenone.After completing his studies, he began working as a mechanical equipment installer, which also allowed him to gain experience abroad and learn about different styles and cultures.
Six years later, he decided to stop travelling and began to work as a designer in the field of industrial refrigeration.
This meant that he had more time to focus more on one of his passions: football refereeing, something he has been doing since he was only 15 years old, having made it to the Serie D football league at national level.
In 2023, he chose to believe in the Smart Ice Italy project and began pouring his passion into developing custom-made products and researching innovative solutions.

Stefania Mazza, nasce a Bologna nel 1967.
Con oltre 30 anni di esperienza è la direttrice amministrativa di Smartice SRL.
Ha il compito di supervisionare, organizzare e coordinare tutti i servizi amministrativi, contabili e finanziari dell’azienda.
Inoltre gestisce i rapporti con i clienti, i fornitori e le banche.

Fino all’età di 26 anni dedica la sua vita al calcio, facendo della propria passione il proprio lavoro.
Successivamente nel 2020 decide di seguire le orme di suo zio, Cristian Mazza e di suo fratello, Matteo Melli.
Ha il compito di trovare nuovi clienti per Smart Ice Italy e di seguirli a livello commerciale.
Con la sua determinazione e passione contribuisce, giorno dopo giorno, alla sua crescita personale e dell’azienda.
